Feminismos y conciencia de género: el aula de traducción y de lenguas extranjeras modernas como espacio transformador

BIODATA: María Laura Spoturno is Associate Professor of Literary Translation and US American Literature at Universidad Nacional de La Plata (UNLP), Argentina, and a Researcher with the Consejo Nacional de Investigaciones Científicas y Técnicas in Argentina. She is the principal investigator of the research project titled “Traducción, subjetividad y género. Responsabilidad ética y social en prácticas de traducción e interpretación” (UNLP/2022-2025). Her current research focuses on the study of subjectivity and (self-) (re)translation practices, the relationship between translation, gender and feminisms, self-translation and exile. Her most recent publications include the edition of Escrituras de minorías, heterogeneidad y traducción (FaHCE, UNLP, 2018) and a collaborative translation of Seymour Mayne’s poetry in four languages (Wind and Wood/Viento y madera, Malisia, 2018). She has also published several papers exploring aspects of the (re)translation of Gloria Anzaldúa’s Borderlands/La Frontera (Lengua y Habla 23, 2019; Routledge Handbook of Translation, Feminism and Gender, 2020), the study of authorship and self-translation, retranslation and multimodality (Hermeneus 21, 2019; The Translator 25(3), 2020; Letral 28, 2022) and a chapter on issues related to translation and social responsibility (Palgrave, forthcoming).
ABSTRACT: Esta exposición indaga algunas claves teóricas pertinentes para abordar el trabajo en las aulas de traducción y de lenguas extranjeras modernas desde una perspectiva de género crítica y situada. En primer lugar, se comentan las normas vigentes en Argentina en materia de políticas de género y educación para contextualizar los contenidos de la exposición. En segundo lugar, se revisan las nociones de interseccionalidad y decolonialismo, que surgen en el seno de los
