BIODATAS:
Xiaofan Amy Li is Lecturer in Comparative Cultural Studies at UCL. She earned her PhD at Queens' College, Cambridge. Her research spans French and East Asian literatures and cultures. She has published on key topics in Comparative and World Literature including comparative poetics, translation, and cultural representations.
Haydn Kirnon is Lecturer (Teaching) in Spanish into English translation at University College London, UK, where he teaches translation in the Department of Spanish, Portuguese and Latin American Studies. He has been a professional translator and subtitler for over thirty years and also worked as a lexicographer on several dictionaries, at Oxford University Press, including the Oxford Beginner's Spanish Dictionary, thereby developing a strong liking for the teaching of translation to would-be linguists.
Martha Gaustad, MA in Spanish and MA in English, is an adjunct teacher of translation and teacher trainer on the programme to promote plurilingualism at the University of Córdoba, Spain, which she combines with her work as a freelance translator. She has over 30 years of
