Student feedback

The English itineraries are appropriate for helping us to preserve and improve our level in what, prior to starting at university, was the first foreign language we learned at school. Furthermore, it is an excellent incentive for us to acquire general language skills linked to the use of English within the veterinary profession. Today, English is the most influential language.

I have found it very useful learning anatomic vocabulary in English that I can use as a veterinarian. It is the first step in making it easier for me to broaden my future job opportunities in a global world, which demands a high knowledge of English.

Nowadays, university students are (or are required to be) proficient at B1 level at least; this makes me wonder if a degree would be worth it if all the classes were taught in Spanish.
Globalisation has provided us with a ‘universal language’, and that’s where the importance of introducing bilingual subjects becomes prominent. It’s not just English – it’s English with a focus on our courses and future professions.

It’s neither easier nor more difficult, but it is more pleasant, welcoming and more humane to be in a smaller group and have a closer relationship with the teacher. People should not be afraid because their level is more advanced in comparison to that of the average teacher (I do not wish to take anything away from the teachers, as they at least strive to improve and show a willingness to learn). It is very useful to not stop learning an important language such as English after finishing our A-Levels so that we do not forget it. It’s important to not be afraid of speaking publicly in another language as we can improve our skills in a very competitive working world.
