23 students from 7 different countries have been trained as professionals at the highest level

The Master in Olive Growing and Oil Technology has concluded its 15th edition, in which 23 students from 7 different countries have been trained as professionals at the highest level.

As director of the program, Professor Enrique Quesada Moraga has pointed out that the olive sector is going through an important moment regarding challenges such as climate change, production problems, resource limitations, and olive oil quality standards. That's why the knowledge of the 145 experts who participate as lecturers in the Master’s program is a guarantee of excellence and will allow the students to "export the olive culture from Córdoba around the world."

This Master’s program is organized by the University of Córdoba, Junta de Andalucía, IAS-CSIC, IFAPA, CIHEAM, the International Olive Council, the Spanish Higher Council for Scientific Research (CSIC), and the Fundación Patrimonio Comunal Olivarero. Since 1995, when its first edition took place, it has trained 347 professionals and researchers from 25 different countries.
